Edward and William was going to duke it out and William won and thats how he got the name William the conqueror. he was first to collect the sensers. Domsday book is where the put all the taxes. Then later was called Doomsday book.

-Henry the first was a push over leader.
-Thomas Becket was Henry the seconds best friend. They got in this argument and Thomas Becket said " I wish he would just die," Henry the seconds knights was standing outseide listening the their conversation and they over heard that and they followed Thomas to church and stabbed him to death and it was also Christmas eve.
-King John wanted to tax everybody. People got really ticked off and meet at 12:15 at Runningmeen.
-Magna Carta  became a cornersstone of constitutional goverment rule by law.
-John promised not to take property without paying for it, not to sell, refuse or delay justice. Meant that he the king had to obey the law or face revolt and overthrow. It also made the law supreme power in England.
